Fire breaks out in Middletown barn

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH)– Crews were on the scene of a fire in Middletown Thursday morning.

Police on the scene tell News 8 that the structure fire broke out in a storage barn on Atkins Street around 5 a.m. There is no word on if anyone was injured in the blaze.

Atkins Street was closed for fire crews but has since reopened. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
