Man Arrested After Manhunt

Fairfield, Conn. (WTNH) – Several police departments including Fairfield, Bridgeport, Norwalk, Danbury and Bail Enforcement joined forced to track down a man wanted for multiple failure to appear warrants.

They tracked down 22-year-old Jevon Pegues of Danbury at a parking lot at Jennings Beach and from there a chase ensued. Pegues ran from a Bail Enforcement Agent after a brief scuffle where he ripped his shirt and lost his shoes.  He ran towards Craig Place, so several patrols set up a perimeter on surrounding streets.

Police eventually tracked him down at his brother’s house, where he was arrested.
