Man’s body found after mobile home fire

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The body of a 69-year-old man was found inside a Milford mobile home Thursday after a fire broke out just before 5:00 pm.

Milford Fire officials responded to the report of a fire at 321 Bridgeport Avenue. Companies arrived to discover a mobile home completely engulfed in flames. That fire was so large it damaged three other mobile homes nearby.

The fire was eventually extinguished. A search of one of the mobile homes led to the discovery of the man’s body.

At this time his name is not being released. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
