Accused baby formula thief arrested, charged

ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) – An accused baby formula thief is now in police custody.

Officers with the Orange Police Department responded to the Target Store on Boston Post Road last Thursday around 1:30 p.m. for complaints of shoplifting.

Officers arrested Jermaine Foster, 44, of New Haven, for allegedly taking nearly $180 worth of baby formula and leaving the store without paying.

Store security stopped Foster outside and waited for police to arrive.

Foster was taken into custody and charged with larceny.
