Killingly man faces narcotics charges

Killingly, Conn. (WTNH)- Concerns by citizens and business owners about drug sales in downtown Danielson has resulted in the arrest of a local man on multiple drug charges.

39 year old Francisco Fraustro of Killingly now faces charges that include possession of heroin and possession of heroin with intent to sell. State police say Fraustro was arrested on footbridge, where they say illegal drug sales have been an issue in the past.

When approached by two troopers Fraustro admitted to be carrying heroin. Authorities later confiscated 85 bags of heroin, pre-packaged for sale on Fraustro.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior court in January.
