Stafford barn destroyed in fire

STAFFORD, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A barn has been destroyed and a home was damaged by a fire early this morning in Stafford.

According to Stafford Fire dispatch the fire broke out shortly after 2:30 a.m.   Fire departments from Stafford, Tolland, Willington, Ellington, Crystal Lake, Somers and Wales, Massachusetts responded.  The fire was reported “knocked down” around 3:30 a.m. when the barn collapsed.

A nearby home was also partially damaged by the fire but  dispatch says it’s unclear if anyone was home at the time but no injuries were reported.
