Firefighters battle blaze at building in downtown Danbury

DANBURY, Conn. (AP) — Firefighters have battled a blaze at a three-story building in downtown Danbury.

The fire broke out Friday night. It took fire crews about a half-hour to get the blaze under control.

Firefighters from Danbury and surrounding communities responded.

Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton says one person suffered minor burns and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
