ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) — A 39-year-old Bloomfield man has died in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 91 in Enfield.
Connecticut State Police say Aaron Hess was driving south at about 3 p.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed three lanes and struck the Jersey barrier. The car came to a rest against the barrier.
Hess was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed down the highway for several hours and caused major delays. It fully reopened about 7 p.m.
The cause remains under investigation.
