Police seek public assistance in truck thefts

CHESHIRE, Conn. (WTNH) — The Cheshire Police Department is attempting to identify a suspect responsible for several thefts from commercial trucks parked in their town during late night hours.

According to police, they have obtained two pictures of the male suspect they are looking for. In the picture, he is wearing a a black  hooded jacket, black pants and a blue collard shirt.

The suspect’s vehicle appears to be a white four door sedan with a distinct emblem or decal above the passenger side gas cap resembling a pair of wings.
