STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Stamford Police say they know at least two thieves responsible for a string of car break-ins. Police arrested 28 year old Trevor Dixon of New Haven and they have an arrest warrant for 39 year old Dana Vincent.

Police say those two are among a crew of thieves who’ve been breaking into cars from April 2015 to October 2015. Investigators say they’ve been getting into unlocked vehicles and stealing credit cards, cash and merchandise from Stamford residents.

Investigators say the credit cards were then used in numerous stores across the state. They used video from those stores to identify two of the suspects.
