Traffic stop leads to drug arrest in Litchfield

LITCHFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A traffic stop in Litchfield led to a drug arrest on Monday night.

State police stopped 27-year-old Sean Holland for speeding on Thomaston Road. They say he was in possession of five ounces of marijuana at the time.

Holland is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of more than four ounces of marijuana, possession with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $5,000 bond and is due in Bantam Superior Court on January 11, 2016.
