HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford Police have released the name of the victim of Hartford’s first homicide of 2016.
Deputy Chief Brian J. Foley tells News 8 the victim is 20-year-old Johnathan Douglin of West Hartford. The stabbing happened at 41 Francis Avenue. Doughlin suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and chest area.
Emergency crews transported him to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:11 am.
The investigation into Doughlin’s death is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Hartford Police.
