NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — It may be a new year and a chance for people to make new memories, but let’s take a look back at the final week of 2015.
About a week ago, Christmas in Connecticut. A time for family and friends to come together to enjoy the holiday. Pretty soon all the trees will come down. The decorations put away, if you haven’t done so already.
But let’s discuss the fact that it didn’t feel like Christmas. In fact, it felt odd…
Kathy went paddle-boarding in New Milford.
While others spent time on the beach.
From Branford to Mystic.
Hunter enjoyed time in the pool.
So many flowers in bloom. This garden in Preston is still going strong.
But finally, winter showed up. We got our first dose of ice and snow. It was minimal, but enough for the kids to build their first snowman of the season. Big and small.
Other kids, enjoying holiday break. 7-month-olds Jack and Benjamin cheer on their favorite team.
Helen Della Vecchia in East Haven celebrated 100 years young. She doesn’t look a day over 65.
And oh yeah, Happy 2016 from all of us here at News 8. We wish you health and happiness.
