Hamden police arrest three in cocaine, heroin transaction

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Hamden Police arrested three individuals Monday at a convenience store parking lot on narcotics charges.

At approximately 6 p.m. members of the Street Interdiction Team concluded their investigation by making the arrests of Corey Bland, Dwayne Lee and Keyondis White. Officers observed Bland, Lee and White in the midst of a drug transaction. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a State Street convenience store. Police seized 28 bags of crack cocaine, 5 bags of heroin and $900.00 from Bland’s car.

Bland, 32-year-old of New Haven was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and conspiracy to possess narcotics. Bland, who was detained on a $100,000.00 bond,  is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on Jan. 19th.

Lee, 22-year-old of New Haven was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and conspiracy to possess narcotics. Lee was also charged with 3 counts of violation of probation. He was detained on a $100,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on Jan. 19th.

White, 20-year-old of New Haven was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with the intent to sell and conspiracy to possess narcotics. White, who was detained on a $100,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on Jan. 19th.
