Man arrested in Bristol armed robbery

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) – A Bristol man is under arrest after police said he tried to rob a gas station.

Joshua Daniels, 26, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery and attempted assault. Bristol Police told News 8 that Daniels attempted to rob the Valero gas station on Pine Street shortly before 11:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

A press release sent by Bristol Police to News 8 said that Daniels had non-life threatening stab wounds but did not elaborate as to the cause of those wounds.
