Police investigate home burglary in Naugatuck

NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH)– Naugatuck police are investigating after a home was burglarized Monday evening.

Police say they had a very active Monday, receiving 122 calls to their call blotter throughout the day and night. One of the incident’s police responded to was a residence on Wooster Street to the report of a burglary.

Police say the victim contacted them around 5:15 p.m. and told them that the house had been broken into sometime during the day. There is no word on what was taken or if police have any suspects at this time.

Police do however ask residents to be vigilant and report anything unusual. They also advise residents to lock their doors and windows to deter criminals and use your alarms and cameras if you have them.

The burglary remains under investigation.
