SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Southington Police are looking for the three suspects connected to a home invasion which sent one person to the hospital.
Investigators say the break-in happened last night just before 7 o’clock at night on Meriden Waterbury Turnpike. The homeowner and a woman told police they were inside the home when three people, dressed, all in black, and carrying guns forced their way inside. When the homeowner tried to confront the intruders, a fight broke out, and one of the suspects fired a gun twice.
Police say the homeowner was shot in the arm and brought to the hospital. He’s expected to be okay. Meanwhile, authorities say the three suspects ran away from the home and remain on the loose. No word yet if anything was taken from the home.
