(WTNH) — As you approach the halfway mark of January, are you finding yourself struggling with your New Year’s Resolution? Did you know that 80% people fail their resolutions by March? Transformational Coach Jennifer Grace explains why that happens, and more importantly, how to get back on track.
“A lot of people think it is great idea, then success… but that’s not correct,” said Grace. “99.999% of the time when you have a goal, you will hit a brick wall.” Grace says if you accept that frustration is part of the process you are much more likely to succeed. After you go though the frustration phase, go through the incubation period: pausing your resolution for a brief minute.
“Then you want to go to strategy and this is when you start brainstorming.” Rethink your next steps to stay on track.
The final two stages are break through which leads to celebration. Celebrate your big and little goals.
