One winning Powerball ticket sold in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WFLA) – The Florida Lottery has confirmed with News Channel 8 that one of the three winning Powerball jackpot tickets was sold in Melbourne Beach, Florida.

Florida Lottery says the winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 3830 Highway A1A in Melbourne Beach. The winner’s identity has not been released.

The retailer will receive $100,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket. The Florida winner’s share of the jackpot comes to $528.6 million, the lotto says.

Two $1 million tickets were sold in Tampa Bay. One was sold at Publix, located at 7880 113th Street in Seminole, and another at Radiant Food Store, located on Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills.

The exciting news comes as people celebrated at a 7-11 store in Chino Hills, California, where a winning jackpot ticket was also sold. A third jackpot winner was also announced in Tennessee.

The winning numbers are: 4 – 8 – 19 – 27 – 34 and Powerball 10.

Florida Lottery officials say there are 11 $1 million tickets, and one $2 million ticket which was sold at Sav-A-Thon, located at 199 North Country Club Road in Lake Mary, Florida.
