Tech Tuesday: Apps to save money everyday

(WTNH) -– If saving money is your New Year’s Resolution, there’s an App for that, in fact there are plenty of Apps for that. WTNH’s own Vanessa Wojtusiak shares apps that can help save you money while you do your everyday normal routine.

Gas Buddy: This app maps out all the gas prices in your area to help you find the least expensive.

Retail Me Not: This app shares top deals and coupons from hundreds of stores. The next time you’re at a store, look them up on Retail Me Not and find coupons and deals you won’t find anywhere else. This app also alerts you to great deals nearby.

Shop Savvy: This app is a barcode scanner so you can compare product prices from local stores and online.

Grocery IQ: Provides coupons and helps you find the best deals on items

Mint: This app is your own personal financial advisor. See your top spending categories to budget accordingly, get alerts on expenses, and see all of your accounts in one place.
