Stafford Middle School evacuated after threat

STAFFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Stafford Middle School was evacuated on Wednesday morning after a threatening message was discovered in the bathroom.

The threat had been written on the wall of the bathroom.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Patricia Collin posted a message on the Stafford Board of Education website saying that students were being taken by bus to the elementary school as a precautionary measure.

Students and staff have been allowed back into the building after State Police cleared the scene.
