Waterford man violates monitoring program, arrested for narcotics

WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Waterford Police Department has arrested Chad Stringer, 41-year-old of 12 Tyler Place, Quaker Hill, CT.

Stringer was part of a pre-trial monitoring program answering to previous charges that the Waterford Police Department had arrested him for. The Probation Officer assigned to his monitoring contacted the Waterford Police Department regarding a violation of Stringer’s Conditions of Release. Waterford Police Department and the State of Connecticut Probation Officer went to Stringer’s home, where he was taken into custody without incident. During the arrest, drugs and drug paraphernalia were discovered.

Stringer was arrested for violation of conditions of release, possession of narcotics (cocaine and heroin), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stringer is held on a $500,000 bond pending review by the Bail Commissioner. He is scheduled to be in court on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
