ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) — A 19-year-old has been arrested after police say he tried to leave the scene of an accident.

On Sunday afternoon, Orange police responded to an accident on Bull Hill Lane. While at that accident, police say a second accident happened at the same location. One of the drivers in the second accident, 19-year-old Roberto Boria of West Haven, tried to leave the scene.

Police say Boria was stopped shortly after by one of the officers responding to the original accident.

Boria was arrested and charged with evading responsibility of a motor vehicle accident, following too closely, and distracted driving. He posted $50 bond and is due in court on February 1.
