Metro-North service resumes after Shoreline storm

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Metro-North expected to resume train service by Sunday afternoon.

Metro-North stopped service Saturday around 4 p.m. Service will begin to be restored at noon and be at full operations in and out of New York City by 3 p.m.


Metro-North tells News 8 that they have to add back the lines gradually. Metro-North says it went pretty smoothly before service was suspended.

News 8’s Noelle Gardner spoke with Metro-North spokesperson Meredith Daniels on when service with resume in the video above.
