Water main break closes Research Parkway in Meriden

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Research Parkway is closed in Meriden due to a water main break Monday morning.

The Meriden Fire Department confirms to News 8 that there’s water main break at Bob’s stores, with an alarm registering water flow.

Research Parkway is closed to traffic between Murdock Avenue and Pomeroy Avenue while crews fix the water main break.

There is no word on what caused the water main break or when the road will be reopened to traffic.  The fire department and water crews remain on the scene.
