Meriden Man Accused of Assaulting His Sister

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Police have arrested a man who they say assaulted his teenage sister.  De’Shawn Fuller was taken into custody Monday.  The arrest stemmed from a January 5th complaint.  A woman told police her teenage daughter had been injured during a domestic dispute.  The girl and her brother were fighting when he threw her against an entertainment center inside the house.  The victim was taken to the hospital for serious injuries.

On January 25th Hamden Police arrested Fuller at a Bear Path Road residence. Fuller was charged with Risk of Injury to a Minor, Threatening, Assault in the 3rd Degree and Disorderly Conduct. Fuller, who was detained on a court ordered $15,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on January 26th.
