6th arrest made in November Waterford shooting investigation

WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in Waterford have made a sixth arrest in connection with a November 29th shooting on Crystal Avenue.

Police say multiple shots were fired during the November incident and that night, police recovered a AK-47 style rifle. Now, officers have taken 36-year-old Damien Bartholomew, of Norwich, into custody. He is being held on $150,000 bond.

Bartholomew is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance within 1500 feet of public housing, possession of a controlled substance, operating a drug factory, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Waterford Police Department are continuing their investigation.
