Residents of Baldwin Street concerned over shots fired into home

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Gunfire hit a home on Baldwin Street in West Haven on Wednesday evening, causing concern among residents.

At approximately 8:40 p.m., officers from West Haven were dispatched to a home on Baldwin Street on a report of gunshots fired into a home. Although the home was occupied at the time, no one was injured.

A resident of Baldwin Street, who wishes to remain anonymous, expressed serious concerns to News 8 about what this means to this otherwise quiet, residential area.

West Haven police say there were no witnesses that could provide suspect descriptions, and they have no leads. Anyone with any relevant information is encouraged to call West Haven Police’s confidential hotline at (203) 937-3900, or contact them via social media.
