South Windsor man gets caught on Facebook and arrested

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) – 21-year-old William Brewster of South Windsor is being held on $35,000 bond Manchester Superior Court after being charged breach of peace.

Brewster was arrested over the weekend from an on Abbe Road back in 2015. A father caught his 16-year-old daughter trying to sneak out of the house to meet an unknown male who was parked nearby.

When he approached the parked vehicle and asked the driver why he was there, he told the suspect that his daughter was only 16 years old. That’s when Brewster yelled at him and threatened to shoot him. The father said there wasn’t any weapon shown.

The vehicle then drove off. Officers later identified Brewster from Facebook photos and South Windsor Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for him.
