Simsbury organization donates more than #150,000

SIMSBURY, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A Simsbury-based organization has donated more than $150,000 to people and families that are coping with a long-term illness or suffering from a serious injury or a catastrophic life event.

Amy’s Angel’s has helped more than 22 people and their families since its founding in 2014 with their struggles fighting cancer, liver disease and other life challenges.

Amy’s Angel’s was set up in memory of Amy Fiodella Bochman, a mother who lost her battle with breast cancer before her son reached age 6.  Their mission is focuses on helping people recuperate by assisting with the costs of their medical obligations so they can return to a normal, productive, and healthy life.

Donations can be sent to Amy’s Angels, INC, 92 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT 06089.
