Arrest made in two West Haven armed robberies

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)– A teen was arrested Friday for being part of two armed robberies in West Haven on Thursday.

Police say a 17-year-old from New Haven was arrested in connection with armed robberies at Sams Mart, at 665 Campbell Avenue, and at Dunkin Donuts, at 297 Elm Street, on February 11th. The teen was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and larceny.

West Haven police are working to develop further information on two other suspects in connection with those robberies.

The identity of the teen arrested is being withheld due to his age. The incidents remain under investigation.
