Manchester police search for mall robbery suspect

MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — Manchester police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Shoppes at Buckland Hills last week.

It happened at around 11:45 a.m. Thursday.

Police say the suspect stole $285 worth of blankets from the JC Penney store. The man has reportedly committed similar thefts in the town’s other retail areas.

When police confronted the suspect, he pulled out a box-cutter knife and fled the store.

Officers say the suspect ran to a vehicle described as a black, late 2000’s Honda Accord with dark tinted windows and no front bumper
