(WTNH) – All February long, CT Style is celebrating Heart Healthy Month. The singing Chef Neil Feuentes is sharing his heart-healthy and delicious Pizza Bagels recipe.
Healthy and fun Pizza bagels
1 cup of diced chicken breast
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of salt
a pinch of black pepper
1 cup of store bought marinara sauce
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp of oregano
1/4 cup of oil
3 toasted bagels cut in half
Place the chicken, garlic, salt, pepper in a bowl. mix well. Heat a large skillet to medium high and add the oil. Once the oil is hot add the chicken and cook through for about 8 to 10 minutes. Add the marinara sauce and the water. Cook for about 5 more minutes.
Place some of the chicken on top of each bagel. Add Some Mozzarella on top and a pinch of oregano.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 5 minutes
