Two men arrested for 2015 Shelton residential burglary

SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Two men already incarcerated on unrelated charges were arrested by Shelton Police Department and charged for a burglary that occurred in the spring of 2015 at a residential home.

Allen Young of Bridgeport, and Emanuel Ranger of Shelton, both 20-year-olds, were each charged with larceny second-degree, burglary third-degree, criminal mischief third-degree, and conspiracy to commit each charge.

Young was charged on Wednesday, and Ranger was charged on Friday.

Shelton Police were able to link the two men to the residential burglary based on criminal characteristics to other area burglaries, which occurred around the same time frame, in the Huntington section of Shelton.
