A Look inside the Burnside Brewing Company

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — This week’s edition of Working for Connecticut takes us to East Hartford, where creating a product that many associate with relaxation, takes hours to create.

One of the oldest micro-breweries in the state, the Olde Burnside Brewing Company has been around since 2000. The company distributes beer across Connecticut, as well as Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine and New York.

“We normally bottle at least once or twice a week,” says Jason McClellan, the Manager of the East Hartford company. “We have four different brands that we bottle consistently.”

Bringing in malt from the U.K., McClellan says it adds “a really nice characteristic and body to all our beers.”
