HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A man wanted since December for a fatal stabbing in Hartford has been arrested on Thursday.

Just after noon on December 9, 2015, Hartford police responded to Baltimore Street and Albany Avenue for a report of a person shot. Soon after, police say the victim, Joseph Lindsey, arrived at Saint Francis Hospital with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Lindsey later died at the hospital.

Police began investigating and, through the help of witnesses and physical evidence, identified the suspect as 41-year-old Brock Davis. On January 22, 2016, police obtained an arrest warrant for Davis. The warrant charges Davis with one count of murder and holds a $1 million bond.

On Thursday, Davis was captured and arrested in Springfield, Massachusetts by members of the Hartford Police Department and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force.

Davis was charged on outstanding warrants for fugitive from justice charges and will be held in Massachusetts pending extradition process. He will then be taken to Hartford to face the murder charge.
