Police investigate shots fired into Hamden home

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Police are investigating after a gunshot was fired into a West Easton Street home last night.

Police said they were dispatched to the home around 7:30 p.m. on the report of gunshots.

Officers said that after a short investigation, they found that a single shot had been fired into the house.

Police said the bullet entered the residence, pierced a window and become lodged in a wall.

According to police, there were two people home at the time of the incident, but there were no reported injuries.

The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective William Onofrio at (203) 230-4040.
