State Police dispatcher arrested

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — A state police dispatcher is on administrative leave after turning himself into Middletown Police.

48-year-old Jeffery Norton faces charges of risk of injury to a minor, and enticing a minor. Norton was cooperative with authorities and was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond. He is due in court on March 16th.

Norton has been a dispatcher for the last 12 years. He is currently assigned to Troop I.
