Police in Chester arrest suspected bank robber

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in Chester make an arrest not too far from where a bank robbery happened.

Connecticut State Police received a 911 call of a bank robbery in progress at the First Niagara Bank located at 9 Water Street.

State Troopers located a man matching the description of the suspect walking on Railroad Avenue in Chester with a large amount of cash. 25-year-old Dylan Moore of Chester was arrested 10:00 a.m. Monday morning.

No one was injured during the robbery. Moore is being on $200,000 bond.
