PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Plainville police are searching for a second suspect in a brawl that broke out Saturday night in the Imperial Buffet restaurant on New Britain Avenue.
On Saturday around 8:40 p.m., Plainville officers responded to the Imperial Buffet on a report of a fight in progress. Upon investigating, they found that one in a group of men made a comment to a 22-year-old female in another group, at which point an argument broke out.
Police say this continued outside when Luis Santiago, 47, of New Britain, punched the woman in the face. Simultaneously, what police are calling a “male co-conspirator of Mr. Santiago,” punched a 15-year-old boy in the face, causing him to lose consciousness. This co-conspirator is yet to be identified, and allegedly joined up with Santiago in continuing to assault the 22-year-old woman, knocking her to the ground.
