Suspicious Driver

Greenwich, Conn. (WTNH) – Police are warning parents and children to be on the look out for a man that approached a young boy. Police say that a 13-year-old boy was walking on Riverside Avenue, when a man driving a black vehicle that looked like a Jeep stopped in front of him. The man got out of the vehicle and asked the boy if he wanted a ride. The boy said no. That’s when the man started walking towards him and the boy ran home.

The suspect is described as a  5’9″ white man in his 30’s with black hair and is clean shaven.

Police are reminding children to never approach a strangers car and to report any suspicious activity to a guardian or police. Anyone with any information regarding this or any other similar activity, please contact the Special Victims Section Main Line (203) 622-8030.
