Cromwell police search for gas station robbery suspect

CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in Cromwell are looking for a suspect after a robbery at Cumberland Farms Gas Station on Berlin Road Wednesday morning.

After the investigation was conducted, police revealed that the suspect entered the business alone and approached the register. The suspect demanded the employee give him the money from the register. The employee believed that the suspect was armed with a weapon so the employee gave him some cash before the suspect left on foot.

Police are describing the man with a medium build between 190 and 215 pounds. He’s also approximately 5’7″ to 5’9″ in height. He was last seen wearing a black colored hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
