(WTNH) – Check your food cabinet! Bumble Bee Foods, LLC is recalling canned Chunk Light tuna sold nationwide.

The company said it is recalling the food items due to process deviations that occurred in a facility not owned or operated by Bumble Bee.

The company said this is due to a commercial sterilization process and could result in contamination, which could lead to life-threatening illness if consumed.

There have been no reports of illness associated with these products. The company is recalling the items out of an abundance of caution.
