Snow makes for wet roads along the shoreline

NEW LONDON, Conn. (WTNH)– The snow is continuing to come down along the shoreline.

Light snow is falling and cars are already covered. While the snow isn’t coming down hard, snow squalls have coated some of the roads in the shoreline area.

Even though the roads are mostly just wet, the snow is piling up more on entrance and exit ramps of highway. It is cold enough that if your road is not traveled, it may be sticking.

News 8’s Jacquie Slater is stationed in eastern Connecticut where that part of the state has seen the most snow so far. She gives us a look at the snow conditions there in the video above.
