Details of New Haven Cherry Blossom Festival Announced

NEW HAVEN, Conn (WTNH) – The details of the 43rd Annual Cherry Blossom Festival have been announced.  It will be held Sunday, April 24th from Noon to 4:30p.m. in Wooster Square.
Once again there will be free entertainment including steel band, big band music and salsa. There will be a dedicated Children’s Area with arts & crafts, including activities with Peabody Museum, New Haven Museum and a nature-related organization. The New Haven Free Public Library Readmobile will also be on hand.

There is a Pet Friendly area, and more than a dozen local food vendors and display tables with Wooster Square history are also featured.

The rain date for the event will be Sunday, May 1.
