Erratic driver pulled over by Wilton police, facing multiple charges

WILTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in Wilton arrested a driver after stopping a man that was traveling over the double yellow line and white fog line just before 2 .a.m Friday at Ridgefield Rd and Center St.

Peter Russo, of Wilton, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, according to police. After searching the vehicle, police discovered 50oz of marijuana packaged for sale, equipment to sell drugs, and $960 in cash.  He was taken into custody, but later released after posting bond in the amount of $2,500.

Russo was charged with possession of controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of marijuana less than four ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI, and failure to drive right. He is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court in April.
