Report-It Recap March, 25, 2016

(WTNH) — Spring has officially sprung! But as we saw earlier this week, winter just can’t seem to let go. The snow we got Sunday into Monday made for some great scenery in places like New Haven, West Haven, Stonington and Seymour.

The storm coated yards, trees and sidewalks and made for some great shots by the water. It didn’t take long for it to melt.

The bright spot in the week came on Wednesday — National Puppy Day. It’s meant to celebrate puppies and encourage adoption. Age doesn’t seem to matter among Connecticut dog owners. You proudly sent in photos of your four-legged friends, young and old. They were spending time with the family and just lounging around. What would we do without them?

This week’s Report-It Recap also involved a big congratulations to Erik and Ashley Carlson in Simsbury. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adaline Marie. Enjoy every minute of it!
