A New Haven Pedestrian Robbed by Armed Crooks

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – A man walking on Eastern Street just before one in the morning on March 29th tells police something didn’t seem right with an SUV that passed him slowly two different times. The next thing the man knew he was being robbed.

Police say a large blue GMC SUV sped up to the guy and stopped. Three men were inside and police say two of them jumped out, both holding shotguns. The victim told police he stood still and raised his hands. The armed crooks robbed him of five dollars and his house key. They missed his cell phone and credit cards and luckily he wasn’t hurt.
