NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A Rocky Hill man has been sentenced to prison for trafficking oxycodone.
Nicholas Dyber, 30, was sentenced to three years behind bars on Thursday. He was also ordered to pay a $40,000 fine.
An investigation found that Dyber was buying bulk quantities of oxycodone from Bronx, N.Y. and Modesto, Calif. He then distributed the pills to dealers in the Hartford area.
Dyber was arrested on October 11, 2013. On February 20, 2014, he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 10,000 oxycodone pills.
