Milford police arrest man after finding drugs, cash in car

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police have arrested a West Haven man after finding drugs packaged for sale and cash in his car.

Milford police stopped 20-year-old Shadrach Stephenson after noticing suspicious activity inside a vehicle on School House Road in Milford.

After searching Stephenson’s car, investigators say they found 50 Xanax pills packaged for resale, marijuana and cash from what they believe was illegal drug sales.

Stephenson is charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and illegal possession of prescription medication, according to police.

He is scheduled to appear in court on April 26.
